We’re Better Together

God created us to live in community with one another. Small groups are people who meet to pray together, connect in Christ-centered relationships, grow in their faith, and serve the world around them. Anyone is welcome to join a Small Group. Check out our current small groups below!

High School Bible Study

Romans Chapter 8-16

Sundays

Starting September 22

6:00-8:00 pm

Youth, grades 9-12, will be continuing their journey through Romans started last fall. They will be picking up at Romans 8—a journey from condemnation to glorious hope.

No Other Gods

the unrivaled pursuit of Christ

Thursdays

October 3 - November 21

9:00-10:00 am

Sometimes idols are obvious - money, power, fame - but subtler idols often take the form of loved ones, social media, and busy seasons of ministry. If our heart is prioritizing any of those pursuits before God, they are taking up space meant for Him alone.

In this study, women learn to identify the functional gods we are serving and the lies they tell. Only when we learn to dethrone modern-day idols can we pursue a deeper, more meaningful relationship with Jesus.

Grace Changes

Everything

Sundays

October 6-November 24

6:30-7:30 pm

Join nationally known author and pastor Timothy Keller in this eight-week small group bible study, Gospel in Life, to explore how the gospel can change your heart, community, and how you live out the Gospel in our world. In week one you and your group will study the city, your home now, the world that is. Week eight closes with the theme of the eternal city, your heavenly home, the world that is to come. In between you’ll learn how the gospel can change your heart, your community, and how you live in this world.

Burgers, Brats, Beans

(and anything else that can burn)

Thursdays

October 10 - November 14

5:30-7:30 pm

We'll start with a hot off the grill dinner and some fellowship.

After dinner, we'll discuss A Lutheran Toolkit by
Ken Sundet Jones which brings forward the big themes in the Augsburg Confession. The Confession's tools are a set of ideas about who God is, what Christ does, and what a faithful Christian life looks like. They're a description of how faithful people access God's mercy and an eternity of grace upon grace.

This group will meet at Pastor David and Stephanie's house and is limited to twelve people. Details will be emailed closer to the start date.
